The Bass Society is a polymorph & pluridisciplinary collective dedicated to pushing the Bass Music boundaries in every forward thinking direction. We have chapters in Paris, Amsterdam & California & we run a weekly show on Rinse FM France since 2014. Even though the deeper & darker side of the bass spectrum is what we do most & like best, we don’t limit ourselves to any genre or mood frame.

We stand for certain values in & out the strict aspect of music:
– We don’t tolerate any form of discrimination or oppression in any form.
– We think the principle of perpetual exponential growth imposed by the capitalist ideology is harming and killing nature & people (and also limits the boundaries of creativity for artists) and has to be stopped.
– We stand against police brutality & authority abuse in any form.
– We believe in direct action and DIY.
– We do think everyone has the right to privacy and control over whom has access to their private data.
